Acceptable Use Policy

Sovryk is operated ahead of company incorporation in Romania. The registered company name, address and registration number will be published here as soon as incorporation completes. Until then the operator is reachable at contact@sovryk.com.

Sovryk exists to protect legitimate private communication. Privacy is not a licence to break the law. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service.

1. You must not use Sovryk to

• Engage in, facilitate, promote, or distribute any illegal content or activity, including but not limited to:
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual exploitation of minors (zero tolerance);
• Terrorism, violent extremism, or incitement to violence;
• Trafficking in humans, drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods;
• Fraud, scams, phishing, or financial crime;
• Malware, hacking, or unauthorised access to systems;
• Distribution of content that infringes intellectual property rights;
• Harassment, stalking, threats, or targeting of individuals;
• Any other activity that is illegal under applicable law.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or compromise the security or integrity of the Service or other users.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or abuse the platform's automated features.
• Misrepresent your identity to deceive or defraud others.

2. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of content or conduct on Sovryk that violates this AUP or the law, report it to contact@sovryk.com. Note that because communications are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot proactively see message content; we rely on reports and act on them.

3. What we can and cannot do

• We cannot read the content of end-to-end encrypted communications.
• We can act on valid reports and legal orders by, for example, suspending or terminating accounts, and providing the limited account data we hold where legally required (see Law Enforcement Guidelines).

4. Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, removal of access, and, where appropriate, reporting to competent authorities. We cooperate with valid legal processes.

5. No endorsement of illegal use

Nothing in our marketing, features, or positioning should be read as encouraging or enabling illegal activity. Our purpose is to protect the lawful privacy of individuals and organisations. Marketing that could be read as targeting criminal use is prohibited internally and does not reflect the Service's purpose.
